birdbits: Oh it is soo true , so hard to let go of our children. I have one child - a son 25 years old now , but he's still my baby, and I can remember the first day of school for him was very hard on me :-( I call the bitter~sweet experiences "parental growing pains" :)

Family Life Center

We had our first program in the new building last night. It was so incredible to pull into a full parking lot…the cars were everywhere. They had to bring in more chairs and ended up somewhere around 500 people. 500!

You know what I kept thinking? God has some great plans ahead for us all. Look how He is blessing the building tonight with His Word.

Lakewood Baptist Church had the first of two awards nights for their Upward Basketball program. It had to be divided into two nights because the size of the crowd coming to support their family members. What a joy to watch the kids’ faces, as they absorbed the ventriloquist’s words.

And you know what I kept thinking? All of those hours of painting and working and praying (just a small part, compared to what everyone else did!) are now being used by God for His glory. How awesome is that?!
