This paragraph struck me in a way I had never thought about my human nature before.  The inclination toward sin was with me from my first day on earth.  I was given a choice to reject that sin nature and join God’s army.

Thank You Lord, for giving us a choice.  We weren’t doomed to a life of greed and selfishness.  You gave us a better way, through adoption into Your family.  Ephesians 2:19.
